Although it is a subject of debate whether Teotihuacan was the center of a state empire, its influence throughout Mesoamerica is well documented; evidence of Teotihuacano presence can be seen at numerous sites in Veracruz and the Maya region.

Year 426: "Conquest" of Copán and Quiriguá[edit]

In 426, the Copán ruling dynasty was created with K'inich Yax K'uk' Mo' as the first king. The Dynasty went on to have sixteen rulers.[16] Copán is located in modern-day Honduras, as described by Copán Altar Q(???).[17] Soon thereafter, Yax K'uk' Mo' installed Tok Casper as king of Quiriguá, about 50 km north of Copán.

Brewers made out...to bottom of sixth...with the little model houses of the Moche in mind, I took note of the oldest pyramid inside the pyramids inside pyramids--the pyramid at Copan...this bottom most temple has an exact counterpart at Teotihuacan...boxy looking small temples...thinking on this, it's like the boxey temples on top of a lot of the Mayan pyramids...notably EL Castillo...a side thought!...anyway, the clip goes over how the Mayan's regarded the four compass directions, how that resembles a cross, and how the cross morphs into the Tree of Life, and that morphs into all sorts of things...I watch this with Inca and Moche things in my thoughts, and protest, "That's all Andean stuff!"..."Are the little houses atop the Moche house models a hark to the Mesoamerican little temple?...I dunno...but then there is the canopy...all over the Moche pots are the canopy, a roof of two slanted pieces, held up by forked wood poles...the forks once where branches were...about here, I run around and gather Aztec and Maya codex pictures showing gods inside little slanted roof shrines, and from there, over to Egypt, and the painting of gods inside slanted roof shrines, and even over to Sumerian regions, reliefs with slanted roof shrines!...for sometime, the slanted roof shrines!...there's an altar of sorts at Copan that has sixteen Copan rulers carved in relief on it's four sides...beginning with the first ruler supposed to be from Teotihuacan...oddly, he is shown wearing goggles...which could well be...ancients understood glass and lenses...maybe he was nearsighted!...anyway, these are things I need to fill out...well...I don't "need" to...bottom of eighth...Trout walked...Borg up...watched the clip all the way though...second time...and it makes the connection between the houses on top of the pyramid, and that first temple...home run...Borg' first as an Angel...I miss type home run...homer run...all the time...need to get a cartoon Homer emoticom...Angels 5-2...here's the link to clip...

Copan, Tikal, Palenque (home of Pakal)...these the three Mayan towns that look to have connections to Teotihuacan...how often I've miss typed Teotihuacan for Tiwanaku, the Inca town by Lake Titicaca...the clip goes on how the Mesoamerican towns were situated by lakes with reeds...which is...Lake Titicaca...they ate well...there was plenty of water fowl for protein...the coastal Moche ate really well...what may have beset them was poor sanitation brought on by crowded populace...but, I dunno...Brewers down to final strike...3-2...liner caught by Cozart...ball game is over...Angels win four in a row..."you can put a halo over this one!"...Angels drag out of the cellar, now occupied by Oakland...go figure!
