Moon Cactus
Gymnocalycium mihanovichii ‘Moon Cactus’ is a hybrid cactus type from Gymnocalycium. As the plant matures you can expect it to reach up to around 30 cm (12″) tall. The main feature of the cacti is the green stem that grows a global like top that can become red, orange or even other colours depending on the plant.

Notes: game on on the radio...oh, Rosario hit his second home run, a two dinger...top of ninth...Braves 9, Dodgers 2...time to tip the chess king over!...I've been admiring this cactus on the porch...the sprouted top blue color matches the blue color of the pot...searched about to see if this could happen, a cactus 'reading' colors from the environment....not likely...but curious!...sharpie pen ink and pastels on watercolor papers...Boston won today...brbk...wait!....Astros 9, Boston 1...Astros up 3-2 for the series...Braves about to be up three to one on their series...could be on to the world series for them both tomorrow!...Dodgers up, bottom of ninth...actually, Dodgers down, bottom of the ninth, I imagine...
