Notes: I need to get a newer better bigger scanner...listened to the game, Angels at Mariners...Ohtani wapped his #46 home run first at bat, and Angels went on to win, Angels 7, Mariners 3...put a halo over this one, and the whole Angels' season!...lot of baseball still to go...playoffs begin...none of the weird ties occurred...Giants won the NL West...Yankees at Boston for the AL wild card...Cardinals at Dodgers for NL wild card...Blue Jays and Mariners gone fishing with the Angels...the other St. Louis Cardinals beat the Rams...woebetide, all my NFL favorites lost...wait...what did the Bucs do...brb...ohoh...Bucs 19, Pats 17...fodder for the sports talk show pundits!...Rams' loss too...ink sketch is a hark back to my Black Ship, Black Deck Tales sketches...a notion to make all that into an illustrated novel back then, and still!...Velella velella is a Hydrozoan-Jelly Fish, the size of one's palm...given time, and evolution...
