Notes: Game on...on the radio...All Star Game, underway in Cleveland...lead off hit for AL...Verlander, Doom, pitching for AL...fc, one down...Trout up...fc...ground out...to top of second...announcers are really bad...espn crew..and...that's a hint to go have a snack, and see game on big screen...brb...

three days later...


Notes:  Game on...on the radio...Mariners and Angels...bottom of second...Fletcher up, for second time in inning!...first time led off with a double...then Trout a home run...then Ohtani a single...and so on...Angels 5-0...and now, Fletch with a single to load the bases...and Trout up second time...base hit...two rbi...a double!...Angels 7-0...Ohtani up...3-1 count...3-2...W...relief pitcher coming in...Mariners are in last place, lead the leagues in errors, but, are at the top in runs scored and home runs...Angels have pounced on them, which is exactly what Angels must do, win all their games against bottom tier teams, and maybe then a slim chance to make playoffs...Upton up...K...to top of second...Angels have A plus defense and hitting, but the pitching is mediocre...one down...oh, foray out for a snack, listen to the game on Silver's, my jeep's radio...brb...bk...AL won the All Star game...AL 4-NL 3...and Angels went on to win this game tonight...Angels 13-0...Angels' pitchers Cole and Pena combined for a no hitter!...Cole pitched the first two innings, then Pena finished it off...pretty cool...it was Skagg's memorial night...all the Angels wore number 45 in remembrance...put a halo over this one!
