Notes: Game on...on the radio...Angels and Mariners...I listened to the first inning, then the second, Angels scored seven runs...then Seattle came back two...Angels 7-2...and, then I took a nap... now, it's the top of eighth...Angels 13-3...Lastella pops out...Angels had rookie on mound...did well it would appear...Guerno base hit...I got curious about the espsilon motif...see yesterday's post...and browsing, well, browsing still, I find it shows up curiously like the Old World step fret...this to say, it's a motif that hovers around the nobility...part of their decoration...I'll do a bit until 'game over', and tomrrowmorow more...search: mycaenean epsilon ax...Renifo up...hit...Goodwin on third...Renifo on first...Fletcher up...

The epsilon axe is a type of battle axe named for its similarity to the Greek letter epsilon (ϵ). The epsilon axe was widely used throughout the Middle East, its usage spread from there and grew in popularity to be used in eastern Europe and Russia as well as the Nordic countries. The axe is also depicted in Egyptian hieroglyphics with the warrior carrying both the epsilon axe and a shield thus leaving some to believe that this weapon was used also as a one handed weapon. Bronze examples of the Assyrian design are kept in the British Museum. Some historians have called the epsilon axe the "poor man's" kopesh, it is possible that the epsilon axe would be assigned to less valuable or "irregular" infantry while main forces would be equipped with the kopesh.

oh!...Angels with fewest strike outs in AL...that's against the analytic grain...analytics say swing away, aim for the fences...sorta like basketballs 'shoot 3s'...the defenses will adjust!...anyway, 'E' in our alphabet is the fifth letter too!...Mysterions go on, this is a Pythagorean 'tell'...the pentagon, five pointed star, the Pythagorean's emblem...Mariners make out...the epsilons on either side of the Knossis throne might be modern...that building was a total ruin...don't know the history of the recreation...but, the epsilon is in so many places, royal places, it's kind of okay...a good guess to put them there...an 'intuitive observation'...there are a whole lot of those surrounding the epsilon, guesses of the New Age mystic sort...Mariners have a catcher pitching...one out...Ohtani up...Ohtani on on an error...third time today on on an error!...Lucroy up for Albert...Albert batted in five, and awarded 'star' of the game...oh, the play off basketball today...don't know what time...retirement and naps and loss of time!...brb...5:00 pm...a half hour away...Warriors down one to Raptors...Raptors 1-0...

I dunno...can everything that looks like E, or back to back, face to face, Es, be considered an epsilon motif?...that wall is a whimsy...another wall nearby even more a whimsy...when looking for polygon walls depicted in ancient paintings, I found this one in that Knossos palace...

hard to see, but the water is stylized like how sunlight reflections waver on water surface of a lake, pond, bottom of swimming pool...and, it's polygonal...went on about this last season...the sun's reflection on water...there are all kinds of sunlight affects, commonly seen, from reflections to rainbows...a whimsy that the polygonal walls are this reflection of water stylized!...and ancient 'Pythagoreans' will have noted what sunlight does, much as Newton did!...the rosettes are another royal motif...and last season I went on about how they are drawn, with a compass one site had it...clearly, greek keys, step frets, in long rows represent waves...hmmph...I'm trying to put up too many things at once!...tomorrowmorrow...
