Open To Interpretation

#inktober eight

Teeth

Sanderling

Notes: out and back to HB by the jetties...not many beachgoers...pursued the Sanderlings and Sandpipers up and down the waves' edge as the Sun set, aligning them with the 'spotlight'...Sunset messed up again by clouds on the horizon...tried to come up with something for inktober prompt 'teeth'...wanted to have Orcas in the cast, and they have big teeth...so chose them over Left Shark!...top pic might be a Plover...brb...not a match...bk when I find id!...the pigeons sleep 'against the wall', a ledge from one end of the bridge over the Santa Ana River to the other end...just room to stand, roost, and coo coo, all facing the wall, backs to the ocean...tried a clip with the go pro, but I can do better...take the tripod with next time...Snowy Plovers have a protected nesting site by the jetties...top pick not a Plover...looks to be a Sanderling?...I dunno!...

:)
