Main Beach, Laguna Beach
Notes: Game on...on the radio...Padres at Angels...Mariners left town with wins over the Angels last two games...an out and back!...did these often at lunch time in the Valley with photos...thought is to go to each plein air icon in Laguna Beach...and one can look them up and compare on google image search...yesterday, I found Aliso Beach, and a few paintings from here on web, one really neat gauche...today I thought to roll out to Main Beach, the Lifeguard Tower...got there parked, and all just in time to do a sketch, take a pic, before sunset...a lot of thinking in all this!...the pre-occupation on the ride there and back...yesterday, I found the "palace", today the "tower' with a bonus...a guitarist set up on the sidewalk with a music stand, the stand reminiscent of a plein air easel!...Angels 3-3 bottom of seventh...

that view looking south....time for a snack...feed Maya, my dog...so, soh, the Angels trade Castro to the Padres...he comes up with two on...wap...Padres 5-3...then Madden brings in Robles, who hasn't pitched in 11 days...three walks...Padres 6-3...another relief pitcher...then, wap wap wap...Padres 11-3...eight runs with two outs!!!...finally to the bottom of the eighth...Ohtani up...W...Ohtani walked last time up...Trout up...Angels made out...
