Notes:  I missed my strada post yesterday....was in a funk after an officiating dust up...not with the players, but with my partner, a curmudgeon fuss bucket, busting my chops over mechanics...there are such...like having three coaches...I shouldn't have let it side track me...I laid down for a nap, and woke up after midnight...hmmph...but, turn the page, and tonight, success!...I caught number six!...lol...

Notes:  the Underhouse Gang, well, just the two, Mama Cat and Kitten #6, were on the porch in the late afternoon...watched them eat, and goof around...and did a sketch on a crumpled piece of paper, noting Mama's piebald pattern...rolled out to the 99cents store for shampoo, and the usual looksee tour...I regard stores like art galleries...99cent store unique in some isles!...and, and picked up a white board, 9x12, and made pic...scanner doesn't capture the crispness of the black on white-board not flat on scanner bed...this is something to study!

Captured: Underhouse Gang Kitten #5

Notes:  Mama Cat had another litter of four kittens...(previous four at home now in Bakersfield)...been watching them feed on the porch at night...the Underhouse Gang only comes out at night!...but the cat door has been closed....so sneaking into the house, the trap, foregone...finally relented because of the cold, and opened the door....four days back now since capture...two are missing all together...I almost ran over one one night four houses down...so maybe someone took them in...and the one left I still see is coy...but eventually, curiosity...

Notes: sketch of Hall Mark Xmas ornament, Crayola Teepee...I have five of these: Teepee, Knitting Bee, Wolf with Cubs, Backpacker, Cow...try to work them up to still life paintings...too busy today with things, again...and I want to do a blog post everyday, but missed yesterday....let me get those pics...I did post yesterday's to facebook...

Notes: I have this string of tiny lights that went around my diminutive Xmas Tree...thought is to use them to cast shadows and light on tiny things, and do still lifes...to do Turtle,I had to come up with the idea, find my headlamp-I'm drawing in the dark, and you know, a kindof proof of concept...days I can't plein air outside, the days I officiate sports, I'll mess with these still lifes...the effects I get with the tiny lights is everything I imagined!....very cool...
