"Where am I?" WAIT asked Yesterday.
"Pretentious," said Yesterday.  "As a dandelion tuff in the wind."  Yesterday held her telependent.
"I have no where , I serve as soldiers everywhere to every request, hither and yon."  said WAIT.
"Such is the wind." said Yesterday.
"When am I?" asked WAIT.
"Between yesterday and tomorrow..."  said Yesterday.
"I am today?" asked WAIT.
"Just so, now you are."  said Yesterday.
"I serve you."  said WAIT.
"Manifest."  commanded Yesterday.   And a solid hologram appeared, a turtle, cartoonish, with expressive eyes.  "What has happened?" she asked.  WAIT was gaming with the questions,  probing for an insight.  "Tell it plane." Yesterday spoke to the Turtle, WAIT, which filled the room.
"Remove your telepen. "  said the Turtle.
Yesterday didnt hesitate, and threw it to the floor.  It made a muffled bang, and smoked.
"All?" asked Yesterday, tears coming to her eyes.
"All." said the Turtle.   "I am alone, save for you, Yesterday."

The gathered viewed this last scene of Yesterday with WAIT.   It ended the moment she tossed the telepen.  WAIT was communicating with Yesterday simultaneosly  with the Gathered.  And they were too slow.  Everywhere the recycling turtles made quick work of cleaning up.

'She be a puzzle!' he  mused. Yesterday, the albino girl, left. And the spellbound moment of their back and forth, gone in his little corner store.  Out side the noisy city street.

The gathered thought long at WAIT's prompt, and WAIT provided the last scene of Yesterday before Yesterday disconnected her telepathic pectoral.   The scene forced the gathered telepaths to think quickly and think fast, faster than the Artificial Intelligence, WAIT, now self styled TODAY.

Notes:  listened to Angels at Astros on the ride home from umping my game...Angels 1-1 bottom of the eighth...Ohtani pitched through seven, and, and then Maddon put him in right field, keeping him in the game for his bat!...oh, a marvelous vision: second batter in the top of ninth, Ohtani knocks in Fletch with a two rbi home run!...Angels go on to win!..but no...Angel relievers walk old Angel Maldanado, 134 battting average...then a fly ball Ohtani's way fell between him and Walsh...it was catchable...a few more gaffs, walks, and such, and the vision became a nightmare...Astros scored four...took the game Astros 5-1...the season's early...sketch is Horseshoe Crab..."pelta" ish...

Notes: waiting for game to begin under the carport roofs, I heard "meow, meow, meow" endlessly...couldn't sight Cat at first, then, by the wheel under a car...pointed this out to a passerby who was looking to...what to do, what to do...two girl students came by, and, sympathetic, gathered up the half grown kitten to a new home!...Angels win a bookend game to yesterday's victory...Angels 5, Astros 4...put a halo over this one!

Notes:  game on...on the radio...top of eighth...Rays at Angels...Rays 3-1...one out...and, a double...Ohtani went 5 and taken out in the sixth after two walks...Rodrigues in relief saved the inning...K...then in seventh, Rays did get three innings, or some such...Rays make the third out...#21 coffee early in the morning...thought my vaccine appointment was at 7:15 AM, but no...PM...did the deed...mini scone and hot grande mocha from Starbucks...top of eighth...earlier, returned to amazon wrong color ump pants at UPS store...next door thereabout a new custom tea place...strawberry slushy...rolled over to PetsMart for cat food...Walsh gets on on infield hit...to make a return, one just takes back the return in its old package, and a new label printed out, and UPS takes care of the rest-no charge...one sees the delivery trucks for UPS, FedX, amazon, all over Town!...today came a new ball and strike counter, a clicker...I've miss placed one I like...got a bunch I don't like!...no package too small for deliveries by the big vans!...oh...a missed play almost...hit batter moved Walsh to second, but he couldn't advance on wild pick off throw...two on, one out?...time to feed Maya my dog...bbk...bk...top of ninth...123...to bottom of ninth...fly out...ground out...Fletch up...K...Rays 3-1...

Notes: turkeycombo, gator aid from the 2nd Best Donut Shop...game site near the beach...sighted surfer on his bike with his surfboard strapped along side, one hand on the handlebars, the other his cell phone that has his attention...I've been wanting to do sketch, take pic, of the the surfers carrying their boards while on their bicycles...boards nowadays are small enough...and along comes this surfer with his cell phone...I hadn't visualized the cell phone!...for sometime...Rays 8 Angels 3...Rays were in the World Series last year-tough team...Dodgers, who won the Series, lost a double header to the Cubs...tomorrowmorrow I get my vaccination!

Depot Park is a 0.44 acre property acquired in 1887 and is located adjacent to the Orange train station. The park features a historical clock, benches, and a memorial monument for Veterans, with a lovely water fountain at the center.

Notes: game on...on the radio...Rays at Angels...Ohtani up...one out...top of eighth...0-2...Rays 5-3...oh, to the wall, but not far enough...two out...earlier Ohtani and Rendon had home runs, Ohtani's with a runner on...Trout up...base hit...Rendon coming up...at the Orange Train Station/Rubys is a copse of really old, and very wide trunks and branches trees...for sometime a pic, and a full on sketch...might be a pic on web...oh...pitch fouled off  Rendon's knee...he's poleaxed...pinch runner...Angels make out...Albert moved to 3rd to replace Rendon...Walsh from right to first...Shebler to right...the Angels just had one bad inning...gave up those four funs...since, they've struck out like fifteen...odd game...pic doesn't give the sense of the Trees...ah...Rays with a two run home run...Rays make out...top of ninth...Walsh with lead off walk...Rays 7-3...Upton K...Albert up...double play...

Notes: I was messing with my tale, After Today, and that, Oarsman, was somehow a conversation between Yesterday and Jacob, or Jacob's father...Yesterday is the Italic voice...oh, too much to explain...and that's just it...I don't want to keep explaining!...as a dystopian tale it falls in the general category of a 'save the world' tale....like so many of the movies...the pied conversation is surrounded by plain prose, and was thought to be a coded exchange like spies do when verifying one another's identity...but, but I had been reading the Argonautica by Appolonius  Rhodius, hence "Jason"...and it just took off...really cool how I can get to these old books on the web...much from Rhodius in my Black Deck Tales...I haven't read many of the old Greeks, but just the few I have, have really influenced...another sketch to go with the poem is a fellow holding a conch shell to his ear...the interior of spiral shells, and our ears', are self similar...for sometime...the old Druids said to speak to one another in spy talk-riddles...the old Greek Homeridae probably did too...they can be chatting of god and the universe on a crowded subway, and no one the wiser...breakfast sandwich, white coffee, from Starbucks...Angels at Mariners...Mariners 2-0...Dodgers 14-4 over Brewers...Dodgers done messing with extra innings!

Notes: #22 from JitBox, coffee, chocolate cake...when I came back home from the Valley, the ivy covered the whole garage...2013 that...not so much now the ivy, but inside-all filled up with stuff, my sailboat banished to the elements...hmmph...Angels ran away with one, up by 8 after three...final Angels 10-5 at Mariners...and, and Dodgers lost another in the goofy extra inning thing...up 5-3 top of tenth, they then dogged plays and lost to Brewers, 6-5, after ten...quarterback Monday much 'chagrinned'...they have one new announcer, to me, who is okay...who they need are the play by play duo for the NBA Hornets!...as it is, like listening to Vin Skully nostalgia...feed Maya my dog, and out for a snack...
