Visited family in Bakersfield...train bus there, bus train back....on the way, needed to switch trains-one broke down...on way back, rockslide on I5-detour thru Tehachapi...on the last train leg, LA to Anaheim, fellow across from me was furiously drawing in his sketch book, between pulling snacks from his day pack...bit jealous, I hadn't eaten all day, and felt I was witnessing a young Hokusai 'mad to draw'! Happy New Year!...lol...Armand was in LA and posted pic of the bridge to facebook today too!
