Notes:  game on on the radio...Astros at Braves...Braves up...bottom of eighth...Astros 9-5...ex-Angel Maldonado the hero, so far, as Astros try to stay in series...the last two games were low scoring and unexpectedly so...this one more like it, given the fatigued arms of the pitchers!...disappointed the trick or treaters, but no one seems to be walking about, like last year...to top of ninth...time to feed Maya, my dog...bbk...bottom of the ninth...it's been a great season...hope the Series goes seven games!...it would be fitting!...bk...Astos 9-5...Happy Halloween....Posey part of the broadcast crew....cool...

Notes: welp...I happened on the clip browsing miscellaneous, as I do...thought about it...looked about and found more "dove and face" by Picasso...found a long exegesis on just such!...wrote my own comment for the clip's thread!...and, and since I've set up the card table, arrayed with my watercolors and ink gear, thought to have a go at a replica...I don't know if doodles, however rooted in myth, amount to high art-but with a Picasso signature, yeah...with mine...eh...but I kinda arrived at: dove, Aphrodite, butterfly, olive branch-so, soh, I can own this one!...World Series on in an hour...go for a ride about and listen on the radio...bbk with report...bk...Braves 6, Astros 2...

Notes:  Game on on the radio...Dodgers at Braves...bottom of eighth...Braves 4-2...a "leak out" in basketball is when a defender on defense leaves the player they are guarding, and runs like hell to their basket at the other end of the court, and camp under the basket waiting for an easy layup from a court length pass from an offensive rebound, or even a fast inbound pass after an opponents made basket...a common place play in pick up games, and high school, and, and the Ball brothers have made it popular at the pro level...does it work towards the overall effort?...I dunno...somewhere a statistic...it's a risk to leak out, your team becomes short a defender...okay...to the top of the ninth...Dodgers at the Last Chance Saloon!...and, going fishing...Braves 4-2...Braves and Astros on to the World Series...

Notes:  I have a wooden drawing modeling hand...which I never draw!...but the prompt "pick" made the idea to get an apple, or grape, something for the hand to pick...in Buddhism too there are mudras...and sutras...the mudras hand gestures, the sutras written/spoken lessons...and, somewhere I gathered that Buddha did one lesson by just holding up his hand, forefinger to thumb, fingers splayed in a kind of spiral(Flower Sermon)..so I was there with thoughts, and, and, went to bare bones, and, stuck...nothing else to do, especially with Halloween around the corner...so, soh, before doing a full on drawing, I did a small ink sketch on some scrap drawing paper...this after counting up the carpel finger hand bones!...drawing inexact...but gosh, it's grim, and I added the Reaper...too much...too grim to make a big drawing!...lol...

Notes:  game on...on the radio...Angels at Mariners...Mariners 3-1...Angels with runners on first and second...two out...Mayfield up...Angels have just one more game tomorrow!...Mariners still have a chance for wild card...stadium all full...oh!...Giants lost, and Dodgers have a lock on a win...Dodgers 7, Brewers 1, bottom of seventh...Padres 3, Giants 2, final...and Blue Jays 10, Orioles 1, Vlad Jr. with a home run, #47?...yep...450 feet...if the Mariners win, then there's this going into tomorrow:...Boston and Yankees at 90-71...Blue Jays and Mariners at 89-71...Boston and Yankees guaranteed for play off to play the wild card...actually, between the two the one with best head to head record gets a by for the playoff(?)...and, and that could apply if Boston and Yankees both lose tomorrow, and both Mariners, (if Mariners win tonight,) and Blue Jays win...a four way tie for the two wild card slots!...I think things settled in National League, except Dodgers can tie the giants for Division crown if they win tonight, and tomorrow, and Giants lose tomorrow!...I think I have that right!...to top of seventh, Mariners 3-1 still...this is nuts...if Giants and Dodgers are tied after tomorrow for the NL West crown, what then?...do they play one game to determine the champion, and the loser plays the Cardinals in the wild card?...brb...I have the NL right...note the Giants beat the Dodgers head to head so will have home field advantage...suspect both beat the Cardinals, who the loser will face...Now, in AL case of three way tie, they all get to do a playoff game...the team with the best head to head record over the other two combined? chooses its opponent, or to sit out the first play off game...the winner of the playoff then plays the team that sits out...four way tie works the same...two teams play each other, best head to head choosing opponent...with four tied, winners  of this first round play off play one another in the Wild Card...weird...in the three way tie, oh, wait...the loser and the team waiting play one another...then that winner advances to the wild card against the first play off game winner...there...made sense to me, but my explanation surely nonsensical!...bbk with Angels/Mariners report...Mariners 6-4...onward to tomorrow, all game Pacific Time 12 noon...that, so no one can scoreboard watch for unfair advantage, or some such!

Notes:  game on...on the radio...Ohtani just intentionally walked...Marsh just knocked two in, and being on second, first base open, so, Ohtani walks...Angels 2-1...Angels at Mariners...at Staples, I bought a 9x12, 98lb, Mixed Media Canson drawing book, and a packet of fine line Sharpies...geared up for Inktober!...thought to sit this one out...but ideas came for the first two prompts, Crystal and Suit, and an overall notion-scenes with figures...thought to use nib pens and ink washes!...but too much...kiss...keep it simple stupid...to bottom of third...these last three games with the Angels, must wins for the Mariners, who have pulled even with Boston for the AL second wild card spot...wait...brbk...oh!...Boston won today, so Mariners must win...I'm rooting for them!...the last, maybe, comic book I bought as a kid, was that issue of Detective Comics, and I remember drawing at my desk in school the Crystal Creature...and, and it came to mind for the inktober contest...browsed for crystal stuff too on the web (crystal puffins), and watched youtubes of the Giant Crystal Cave in Mexico...and and and, as it happens, that Detective Comics issue was October 1, 1959!...go figure...to top of fourth...bbk with report...bk...Angels 2-1...put a halo over this one...
