term...conversations that tap into lore that repartee

The modern slang term for sharing personal background stories or hidden history during a casual dialogue is a "lore drop" or "dropping lore." [1, 2]
Understanding Personal Lore
Lore / Lore drop: Originally used for background mythologies in video games or fantasy, modern slang uses "lore" to describe a person's hidden past, funny history, or quirky life experiences.
Dropping lore: The act of casually sharing an unexpected or fascinating past anecdote during a conversation.
Dad lore: A specific type of lore where fathers casually reveal shocking or impressive stories from their youth. [1, 2]

✨️language...when people hit it off they are said to speak the same language

Speaking the same language" is a beautiful idiom that means two people share the same values, attitudes, and ways of thinking. When you hit it off with someone, your communication feels natural and completely effortless. [1]
Sociolinguists have actually studied this phenomenon. When two people instantly connect, a few fascinating things happen: [1]
• Linguistic Convergence: You will unconsciously begin to mimic each other's speech patterns, pacing, and even accents to build rapport.Shared Context: You intuitively understand each other's references and jokes without needing lengthy explanations.Emotional Harmony: The conversation flows symmetrically, meaning both people feel seen and heard. [1, 2, 3, 4]

🎶hmmph...that's a pause...lore convergence...listening, one wants to chime in...

Let me not to the marriage of true minds
Admit impediments; love is not love
Which alters when it alteration finds,
Or bends with the remover to remove.
O no, it is an ever-fixèd mark
That looks on tempests and is never shaken;
It is the star to every wand'ring bark
Whose worth's unknown, although his height be taken.
Love's not time's fool, though rosy lips and cheeks
Within his bending sickle's compass come.
Love alters not with his brief hours and weeks,
But bears it out even to the edge of doom:
If this be error and upon me proved,
I never writ, nor no man ever loved.

✨️Bower-Bird" is a late-career love poem by Robert Graves, first published in his collection [Colophon to Love Respelt (1967)] and later included in his various Selected Poems and Collected Poems volumes. [1, 2]
Publication and Context
Collection:Colophon to Love Respelt (1967).
Theme: Like many of Graves's later poems from his intense "Muse-poet" period, the piece uses natural imagery—specifically the behavior of the Australian bowerbird, which collects bright, colorful, and unusual objects to decorate its mating display—as a metaphor for the intricate, obsessive accumulation of tokens, memories, and artistic efforts dedicated to love. [1, 2, 3]

✨️styles...a spectrum: playing from sheet music...improvising from memory
Playing music lives on a spectrum, moving from strict reading of sheet music on one end to spontaneous creation and improvising from memory on the other. [1]
Playing from Sheet Music
Visual processing: Reading standard notation uses the visual cortex and parietal lobe to decode notes, rhythms, and dynamics.
Accuracy: Performers reproduce written works precisely, which is ideal for large orchestras and complex classical pieces.
Broad access: Fluent readers can approach unfamiliar styles and genres quickly by relying on the printed page. [1, 2, 3]
Memorization and Internalizing
Multi-system engagement: Moving away from the page activates deep neural networks involving aural, tactile, and intellectual memory.
Aural connection: Musicians on r/piano agree that integrating visual input, ear-training, and theoretical understanding builds robust memory.
Internal mapping: Knowing the harmony and structure allows players to recall pieces smoothly without visual cues. [1, 2, 3, 4]
Improvising from Memory
Real-time composition: Improvisation blends instant creative choices with internalized scales, rhythms, and chord shapes.
Spontaneous flow: Players use tools like sequencing and arpeggios to build phrases in genres like jazz without relying on a physical score. [1, 2, 3]

✨️Robert Graves comment on poets and lore
Robert Graves argued in The White Goddess that European poetic lore is rooted in ancient, magical mystery traditions centered on the worship of the Triple Moon Goddess. [1, 2, 3]
Key Ideas on Poets and Lore
The Function of the Poet: Graves believed that a true poet acts as a sacred priest or keeper of the ancient Muse's secrets rather than a mere entertainer. [1]
Disguised Knowledge: He claimed that early bards and poets deliberately garbled, coded, or mixed up their sacred lore (such as Celtic tree alphabets and mythic cycles) to hide pre-Christian, matriarchal truths from the rising tide of patriarchal religion. [1, 2, 3, 4]
Magical Potency: Graves stated that authentic poetry relies on an intuitive connection to this ancient mythic grammar, writing famously that "only gold ore can be turned into gold; only poetry into poems."

🧐✨️
A bower is not actually a nest for raising young, butan elaborate, highly decorated "courtship stage" or "bachelor pad" built exclusively by male bowerbirds on the ground to attract females. The female later builds a separate, simple cup-shaped nest in a tree to lay and raise her eggs alone.
