Set up the minidigiscope before I set out...and Antlered Buck was right outside walking about...clip is all blurry and bouncy...but kinda cool...went to Creek's End...got my boots wet crossing...but got across with one hop!...then one of the boots squeaked all the way over to Mirror Lake...and back too after dark!...a long walk!...Phoebe was at the Woodpecker Tree....saw Mama Doe and One Fawn just upstream from Sentinel Bridge....clip and pics....stopped in Siberia to purchase some winter gloves and a pullover and yet another head lamp...some things I cant resist collecting...helped the economy a bit on all that too, I'd say!...report of Bobcat out at Happy Isles a week ago...at the Mirror Lake stop, tourist hopping on reported bear cub....talk on the Shuttle was of critter sightings...which tends to happen of late when I'm aboard!...stayed at Mirror Lake until sunset...one Antlered Buck in the Lake Meadow....tried for pics and clip...it went up Creek....tagged along on the use path along Tenaya Creek...both sides have these...and I haven't walked them before...kinda neat little trails...its very quiet...few bird sounds...'the sedge has withered on the Lake, and no birds sing'....report of Owl at midday going tree to tree at the Backpacker's Camp...sunny blue and cold enough for gloves!
