After late Breakfast, and Shuttle over to check mail, paddled back along the Road and Bobcat Meadow, and out Lodgepole Point, and found a Shady Spot by the Leaning Cedars at Creek's End...quiet...Phoebe about...meditated a bit on the play of Light and Water onin the Creek from the light Breeze...and a bit miffed that it's so quietquiet,,,and sighted Snake swimming across the Creek to my right...picpicpic...but too far....id tonight...Western Yellow-bellied Racer.....well, I thought, a New Critter to post up...and heard a branch break out by the Merced...no chance it's Bear, I thought, but looked around the Cedars, and there was Bear, ambling over to Owl Log...picpicpic...very cool!....moved over right next to the Cedars for cover, and Bear showed opposite across the Creek...pics of Bear by Zeke's Perch, and the Tiki Outlet, are special...picked up, and went upstream to Duck Harbor, waited, and thought Bear might come that far Up Creek, but no luck...time...crossed the Creek, and back along the Dirt Road to the Cabin...heard Bear back in the Woods...but time!..hmmph....sunnyhotblue....at Lunch: sat awhile at the Fallen Cedar...quietquiet...Sparrow, maybe new sighting, perched...pics...One Phoebe about, Acorns on the Snag by the Rooms...Acorns are always there....report of Bear 66 (or 99) at Ozone Beach two weeks ago...report of Bear I saw, sleeping under Truck in the Backyard....oh...heard Hawk earlyearly this morning back in the Woods, buy too sleepysleepy to go looksee...
