Balboa Pier, Ruby's
Notes: a sunset out and back to Balboa Pier...it was like Spring Break...everyone at the Beach...diverted from first choice, Huntington Beach State Park...gate down at Brookhurst...that entry often shut in off season...and thought to continue on to Balboa...raced the sun setting to find a parking space, and get the computer parking meter to work...for most part, I wear my neck gator mask up...but if the menace transmits as easy as odors, I dunno!...sat on the beach south side of the Pier and did the sharpie pen ink sketch...no surfers about, so no thumbnails of DelphinidaeHominidaes, or OdobinidaeHominidaes!...thought to just do beach folk thumbnails, but took time with the Pier sketch...went to the Snack Stand again, hot dog, fries, coke soda...sat on the Blue Picnic Bench...on the way bought a couple T-shirts...some of the shops open, but not all...
