That is the same lizard I saw in Mojave desert. It is a collared lizard. Took a pic with my little old Sony. I painted a pic of it. They are really colorful, and the colors vary I guess. At least that is how it seems to me after looking at online pics.
Ah...blast and damnation...my comment got wiped out. That is the same lizard I photographed in Mojave desert, it is a collared lizard. Mine had black under neck so it was a male. Very colorful, and colors seem to vary depending on where it is at.
