Bandtail Pigeon

Early Breakfast, and with coffee, paddled over to check Ozone Beach, and then remembered to check for Two Top Pine Reflection...no wind over the Merced....Two Does about...pic....at Two Top Pine Meadow, the River had gone down too far!....too much Meadow Grasses and not enough Pond...pics anyway...had dropped the waterproof at Ozone, and glad it still worked, and as I turned about to return, Coyote was trotting along the Path...quick pic....then I readied the new camera, and started a series of remarkable pics following Coyote along the Path, past the Recycling Bins , through the Scorched Forest, past the West Edge of Camp 4 where the New Indian Village is under construction, and up a Dry Stream Bed into the Rocky Slope, where I finally lost sight, but caught site of Bandtail Pigeon perched on a Snag....pics....returned back down the Slope, and along the Trail to Lower Falls, and to the Cabin...put laundry in the dryer and snoozed until worktime...sunny blueblue warm...at Lunch: sat awhile at the Round Boulder....Song Sparrow, Robin, Grosbeak, Phoebe, Flicker about...and One Doe too...pic...report of Bear right by the Cabin....one orange/yellow tag....and talkabout 'cougar' Bear...Coyote pics in previous post without text....
