Ouzels And Mergansers

After Breakfast, Shuttled over to Happy Isles, and walked out the Pony Path...Ouzel Nest still there, and Ouzels too!.....but the Merced was right up to the Nest's 'sill'....blurry pics, and only a few short clips...and time...caught the Shuttle back to the Cabin, and to work....overcast, and cool enough awhile to slow the River's rising, but at lunch, warm, and water level highest yet at Ozone Beach...Ozone Boulder completely under....sat awhile on the Round Boulder, and sighted Mama Merganser and the Six Merganserlings paddling about and diving, and catching, all of them, Little Fish or something....pics....together Mergansers leisurely paddled across the River, so deep now it is slow and doesn't require furious paddling to cross!...and Mergansers hauled out on a log, near the usual place, and began preening...pic...time, and back to work....
