Out and about with the Dawn Chorus....Owl Woods quiet....quiet too in Two Top Pine Meadow....Merced still high...Mama Mallard and Mallardlings paddling about the Pond near Two Top....returned for Breakfast and a Long Snooze...levis a bit wet, and feet a bit cold from wading in the Woods and Meadow...wore the flipflops...sunny blueblue warm....peddled over to the Post Office in the afternoon....checked mail, and then made the outside loop...sighted Hawk fly up from Chapel Meadow and soar along Glacier Wall...may have been Falcon...no pic...and maybe saw another Big Wings soaring over to the Falls Rim...clip...looked to be Buzzbird...after an afternoon nap, peddled and waded out to the Broken Cottonwood...stood a long while knee deep in the Pond....Yellow Rump, and another Little Bird similar looking....pics...will try to id before post up....both Mallard families over by the Willows...clips...lots of Violet Green Swallows...

i used to be the first up in housekeeping - i loved that start of my day - trip to the bridge to see the river and the falls. that time of day in yosemite is soooo nice.
