OTI:four pics,notes:9/15/18

Open To Interpretation

Notes: hmmph...I might try to paint the shell on top of the grid/background...painting okay the way it is...I came to the grid notion from a variety of ways...was this morning looking up checkerboards some more...and found some neat things...in a sec about them...and the stepping stones to the painting!...errands to do...and game not on for a couple hours...brb... thenabout!...bk...well, looking at the seashell, I couldn't help but think of the author of site linked a couple posts back who was going on about a 'ezoosmic grid'...I've seen the notion before, from scientists, but described differently...and it's a 'I dunno'...but a thought is the scientists use a mathematical grid to model their theories of stars and galaxies and such...and, and here's such:

The work concentrates on the common grid-based methods that are widely used for the largest cosmological simulations, and discusses the migration of these algorithms to parallel computer architectures.

Artists Scaled Drawing of Hieroglyphs

This small sketch depicts a frequently occurring group of hieroglyphs meaning "life, prosperity, and dominion." The grid lines allowed the artist to draw the hieroglyphs at whatever scale was needed.

Horus presenting Osiris with a flower.  Under the bier are the four crowns of Osiris.
Note also the four hawks perched on top of the lotus's.

Mariette, Denderah, IV, 65.

A similar scene only with Isis at the head instead of Horus.  Osiris-Djed in Djedu stands to the right.
Note that the four papyrus stems on either side of the bier in the previous picture
have been exchanged with Djed pillars in this picture.

Mariette, Denderah, IV, 71.

Four pillars combined
and topped with capitol

This method of describing 'Four Pillars', one behind the other in typical ancient Egyptian artistic style, creates an image that looks remarkably like the Djed symbol.  In the following two scenes from the Temple of Hathor at Denderah, the four papyrifrom pillars on either side of the funeral bier in the first picture are exchanged with Djed pillars in the next:

I did a search: ancient Egypt four pillars djed...thought a follow on on the caption found in earlier post link that said the djed was four pillars tied together...this post one hundred fifth in a series...see previous...should have been caught bloop single drops between Fletcher and Calhoun...two runners on no outs...bunt...a good one...bases loaded...and that site goes on about just my thought/search!...and, and those illustration illustrated what I've been going on about with goddess Nut's stars and fishnet dress...the fishnet is emblematic of the stars...in those illustrations, the djed is emblematic of the four lotus stems holding up the canopy...an infield pop out...then, then Cowert at third turns a difficult double play...5-4-3...!!!...to bottom of 4th...helps Heaney on mound for Angels out of bases loaded jam...Upton up...high...and deep...outahere!...homerun...Angels 4-0...in game last night, Angles hit a lot of at'm balls...Trout put one over the center field wall, just, and Mariner center fielder snagged it very Trout like, which brought an ironic smile to Trout's face rounding the bases...Mariners won that game 6-0...two out...Arcia up...anyway, the lotus stems/djed pillars are like the stars/fishnet...along with my where things are is what things are, is, if things are in the same places from one vignette to another, then things are the same emblem...this all goes to why I was going on about heraldry...heraldry is all about where things are on the shield...oh...Mariners with a home run...Angels 4-1...ground out...it's top of 5th...then, then I got to thinking about fishnets...the reach was for more checkerboards, but too the diagonal checkerboards...oh...looking at the djeds, found one with what looks to be the Nilometer in proximity...my thought had been the djed represents the Nile...and here I can add Nile/Stars/Milky Way, as I've nailed that down!...another home run for Mariners...Angels 4-2...Mariners make out...to bottom of 5th...

right in front of Pthah's nose looks to be the Nilometer...he's inside another canopy supported by djed and lotus...and, and that's a curio about the linen...I haven't seen that emblem before...thread spindle twisted?...for sometime Nefertari's paintings...oh...from fishnet I went to fish scales/snake scales...as it just happens, fishing nets with square/diagonal weaves look just like the skin of fish they trap!...Angles make out...to top of 6th...so, so, skin becomes emblematic of 'trap'...or maybe 'armor'...or both...or neither...well, it's a conflation of where things are...fish nets wrap around the catch...skin wraps around one...the Egytpians covered/shrouded their mummies with goddessNut/fishnet/stars...stars/Milky Way becomes fishnet/checkerboard...it's all puns!...things stacked on things, morphing from one thing to another...well, that's just how things are!...our bodies, all Nature's critters, a heraldry...skin, not only the biggest organ, but the most sensational to see, and sensational to sense/be in...base hit for Mariners...two runners on...so, all along I have this suspicion that Nature's emblems not only resemble emblems in the ancient's artistries, but that they too have the same import...plenty of diagonal checkerboards in Nature...fish scales, butterfly scales, snake scales, but not any square checkerboards in Nature that I could off hand think of...and got to thinking if there are Pythagorean Triangles in Nature...and went off searching for diatoms...diatoms are like tiny tiny seashells...read some more about Turing...and looking at the diatoms, I recalled how the Mystereons go on how if the Great Pyramid is split in two, or some such, one has two 3-4-5 Pythagorean Triangles...oh...it's now Angles 4-3...and still runners on top of 6th...Cowert 5-4...to bottom of 6th...Trout up...ground rule double down in the corner...Ohtani up...base hit...Trout beats the throw to home...under review...looks like he's out...fump...out...first, Hannegar for Mariners throws out Trout, now robs Upton of home run...this kind of how last night went!...Angles on short end of stick on the close plays...Angles make out...to top of 7th...

The resulting Superformula equation has the potential to create a wide variety of shapes due to the presence of a number of variables, or parameters, within it. Adjusting these variables, of which there are 6 in all, produces not only circles but triangles, squares, star shapes and other many-sided figures, figures with bilateral (reflective) symmetry rather than rotational symmetry, and asymmetric figures; these "ideal" figures generated in this way are termed “Supershapes”.
... ... ...
Nature may or may not function along similar lines of logic when creating its own Supershapes!

Order and regularity of shape and form is something that we associate with the non-living world. Crystals have shapes governed by a strict geometry, all flat faces and sharp angles. Living things, on the other hand, are rounded and irregular, constantly changing their shape.
... ... ...
But few natural patterns are so ornate or 'geometric' as those seen by nineteenth-century biologists when they started to inspect the living world of the oceans under the microscope.
... ... ...
Many are elegant cages fashioned from struts that link up into geometric shapes. Some sport spines like tiny stars. Others are shaped like cylinders, peppered with holes like a salt shaker. Coccolithophores typically make their shells from a collection of little disks, like the overlapping plates of medieval armour, fantastically grooved and decorated.
... ... ...
Another common patterning method in nature is exemplified by the stripes or spots of animal markings. In 1952 the British mathematician Alan Turing proposed a theory for how such patterns can appear spontaneously in a mixture of chemicals in which the molecules are simultaneously reacting with one another and diffusing through the mixture.

They are compared to adobe structures or variants of cob structures, which are made from sand, clay, water, and some kind of fibrous or organic material such as sticks, straw, and/or manure. Although of simple design, they are well planned from a utility viewpoint.[2] The houses were built with geometric designs. They were built in the shape of a shell in inverted-“V’ or conical form. Ronald Rael, an architect and author of the book entitled, “Earth Architecture”, has observed that the Musgum houses are of "a catenary arch—the ideal mathematical form," which can withstand the load of the building with minimum use of material.[

The wonderful black patterns on to the reddish brown walls are painted by the women of the village and the buildings are constructed by the men. This is a dominant habitual tradition in all around the Africa.

women paint the walls in India too...

These paintings became an expression of both cultural resistance and continuity. The Boer farmers did not understand the meaning and viewed this cultural art as decorative and harmless and thus allowed it to continue.
The wall paintings are always done by the women, and this tradition and style is passed down in the families from generation to generation by the mothers.

go figure!...maybe the steps are just a feature of working with mud bricks...but, that's just it...features take on import...it's said Nature doesn't have an aesthetic sense...bases loaded...shot bangs off the wall...triple puts Seattle on top, 6-4...Mariners 6-4...

Any color perceived by human visitors for a few hours is entirely different from what is really happening.[6] According to Leopold, the three features of ecosystems that generate land ethic are integrity, stability and beauty.[6] None of the mentioned features are real in nature. Ecosystems are not stable: they are dramatically changing and they have little integration; ergo, beauty is in the eye of the beholder.[

ah...no....'beauty' is what's missing from the scientists'/scholars' estimate of what Nature is about...I could go on...'truth is beauty, and beauty is truth'...Nature does have an aesthetic sense, I'd say...for sometime!...ball to the track caught...think Mariners made out...to bottom of 8th...oh...the Koi fish...did painting, watercolor, of Koi fish going up waterfall...and went on about the legends...Calhoun K...Fletcher up...make out...Trout up...fly out...to top of 9th...and, I cant find if any meaning/import is attached to the scales...
