runner on for Mariners...one out...another curio of the movie was the Aliens inside the Moon...H.G. Wells thought out to live on the Moon, one had to live underground...movie was made in 1964...when the lander, a big diatom!, lands, it scoots along before hitting the Moon and rolling along...except for the rolling along part, it looks a lot like when the Luna lander landed...it's a low budget film...thing about low budget films, syfy especially, they show the bare bones of how films are plotted, what conceits are at work...they haven't the obscurities of big budget films, say, like movie2001!...in MenInTheMoon there's a nod to sacred geometry...the aliens dooways are hexagons...this harks to their being insects...the undergroundscape had big crystals growing...this sort of lifted from movieJouneyToTheCenterOfTheEarth...famous scenes of big crystals...such big crystals actually exist underground!...but hard to visit...too hot that deep, and crystals are like in a super heated brine...
