that one is wildly stylizcd...but it has the three emblems...the steps, the fret, and the triangle--hypotenuse not connect...the frets are the curly cues...why curly cues?...Eye of Hourus/Red Crown of Egypt has the curly cues...too in a Sumerian relief, if I can ever find that one again...oh!...this post one hundred sixth in a series...see previous...when the Persians conquered Egypt...sorta...no one ever seems to have conquered Egypt...they come along and loot and rule awhile, and then go Native--Cleopatra/Ptolemy were Greek...anyway, the Persians took away the artisans and used them to build Persepolis...more on this in a sec...more step frets...

Angels up top of 2nd...two out...the two headed dragon has on its noses the four mollusk eye stalks of the Strombus Monster...I dunno...that I've come to such a sentence/observation/caption!...Calhoun flies out...to bottom of 2nd...hope less drama than 1st!...the cactus looking thing on the right is a plant of some sort...the other odd things too around the figure...the tunic on top right has squares with dots...seen those...and on left what looks to be stars on a dark field...the fringe has step frets...a dogear!...two outs...K...anyway...after yesterdays post I was reviewing/considering, going through some images, forget what...and amongst them was one really unrelated, a youtube clip, about sunlight and the oculus of the Roman Pantheon...Fletcher grounds out...Ohtani up...this might be last game for Ohtani if he selects surgery for his elbow...announcers considering he might just want to finish out the season hitting as DH...just three weeks left...me, I'd just want to be on the field playing everyday!...'Ohtani legs out an infield hit'...under review...out?...safe!...no one comes back from Tommy John surgery and continues as before...home run for Simmons off the foul pole!...Angels 4-0...Fernandez with a double...Bartolo was a 100 mile an hour fastball pitcher in his 'youth'...:)...I took up senor league hardball when I was like late forties...Ward grounds out...Arcia up...K...to bottom 3rd...oh...it was an archaeoastronomy search...

The Pantheon of Rome - originally built by Agrippa and rebuilt by Domitian - after another fire was rebuilt in its present form by Hadrian, in 125 AD; it is one of the few
Roman monuments studied from the point of view of Archaeoastronomy It has the largest unreinforced concrete dome of the world (a record shared with the dome of Brunelleschi in Florence); its diameter of 43.4 meters is equal to its height, as if the building was built around an imaginary sphere

Rangers made out...to top of 4th...tough to copy/paste from page...so, I'll paraphrase...author figured out that at two dates in April and September the oculus shines sunlight exactly on the arch over the entry inside...curio was why these dates?...already had been figured out that the oculus was indicating the solstices and equinoxes...and the author speculates that in April when the oculus shines on the arch, it began the festivals for Cybele...the goddess Rome imported from Anatolia...and in September a festival for Jupiter...Cybele is Innana, and a whole long story how she gets to Rome...gone on about it some in posts...Blash got on with lead off hit, and stealing second advance to third on error...Calhoun up...3-0...this could be Bartolo's last hitter...likely his last season/game!...3-2...fly out...sac fly...Angels 5-0...Cybele/Innana for sometime...a curio is that they are only just beginning to study the alignments of Roman monuments...some others look to aligned, or maybe just incidentally so...baseball fields are oriented so the orientation has the sun cross over like first base to home...never is the sun oriented behind the pitcher...mound is north...even still, afternoon play of shadow and sunlight can make hitting difficult!...anyway, I wonder if the Romans took away from their conquest of Egypt the artisans to build the Parthenon with, like the Persians took them to build Persepolis...Angels make out...to bottom of 4th...lead off hit...Pantheon looks to be the most phenomenal of all the sun aligned temples and such, and there are a lot...fc...lead runner out a 2nd...one out...wiki has a page that lists some of the ancient sites around the world...it looks very incomplete!

hard to discern...but those are the two pylons on right and left, and in center is the temples main corridor/entrance...which I'm thinking is like the 'cleft' in the Indian rock relief, and the Moche drawing, a side by side I posted yesterday...Karnak is the temple Schwaller de Lubicz studied...much on the alignment in his Temple of Man...the pylons are emblems...Rangers make out...to top of 6th...and were covered with illustrations, which harks to the right and left sides in the rock relief, and the Moche drawing...for sometime to go around and collect 'pylons with cleft'...it's kind of a no brainer...as any doorway has a right and left side 'wall' of a building...often decorated, like entry to Cathedrals...too, related, is the Mystereons' mystery of the three doorways...center flanked by two smaller ones...like Roman triumphal arches...hmmph...let me check that!...brb...Bash K...two out...Young with a single...Calhoun up...W...Fletcher up...fc to third...and third out...to bottom of 6th...lead off hit...well, that just doesn't jump out...how the arches are oriented...there were hundreds, and copies made all over down the centuries...maybe they had no standard orientation...Beltre with a home run...Angels 6-2...

two outs, but two back to back hits bring in a run...Angels 9-3...went to site to retrieve the lower pic...fc unassisted to ss...to top of 9th...it has the 'rainbow arch'...the sky arch...arch of the Milky Way, stars, planets, sun, moon, seasons...and, and took note of the pic above...that has the two 'walls' with the 'cleft' between!...go figure...note the curly cue fret waves on the arching snakes...been meaning to do post about the Moche wave emblems!...for sometime...that's a great web site!...noted before in previous posts...two outs Young up...need to get my mind re-oriented to do my stradaeasel painting...have become enamored of doing the cosmic seashells!...did pastel yesterday...simpler to do...but not so dramatic as the acrylics!...still mulling over to rollout to Laguna...thought is now to concentrate there on waves crashing into rocks...fly out...123 to bottom of 9th...keep it simple...use black and white acrylics on small 8-10 panels...thought to use black and white with the seashells, but ran out of black...best to mix up black with alizarin crimson and blue...black paint is just black...mixed up black has like undertones/overtones...it can be very subtle what colors do...find I want to use the acrylics wet into wet...more fun!...third seashell was an attempt at rendering that went south...everything was turning to mud...I was trying to make the rendered seashell match in feeling the free wheeling background I was doing...much fun to do the backgrounds...like abstract painting with no restrictions...went back into the seashell...some of the acrylic dry some not...tried a glaze...big puddle mess starting to grey out to mud...but kept messing wet into wet, and sort of rescued it!...see post two days back...one out...2-2...123...Rangers make out...Angels 9-3...'put a halo over this one!'
