Hummingbird And Bear

Paddled out in the afternoon...afterafternoon...like three!....and geared up with all the cameras and scopes...'for Bear' I told myself...turned up the Merced at Chapel Bridge, and by the Cottonwoods took some pics of Black Phoebes....several about...went out to the Path near the Apple Tree following Flicker...and there were like a half dozen Flickers puttering about the new green Meadow Grass....set up the mini digi...then thought to use the big scope, and set that up...and by then tourists came by and the Flickers flew off...Robins in the Apple Tree, and just as I sighted the camera and scope, Hummingbird landed on a Tiptop Branch....pics and clips...Hummingbird flew off...and I picked up, but when back at the Path, I realized I could have framed Hummingbird with the Falls....set up again, and waitedwaited...and Hummingbird obliged and returned to pose...along with Phoebe, Redwing...and Buzz Bird soaring overhead!...missed pic of Little Yellow Bird.. Robins and Flickers, Acorn Woodpeckers, Whiteheaded Woodpecker, Mallard calling....it was Disneyesque!!....pics and clips....Sunlight faded from the Falls, and the Woodpecker Tree in shade...picked up and went to Sentinel Stop to wait for the Shuttle...and thereabout tourists in pursuit of Bear thereabout!...crossed the Bridge and went upstream a bit...had a hunch Bear would be feeding on the Green Grass in the same little Meadow I have clip of Bear feeding....but this time I was on the side of the River I wished I'd been on that time!....and was able to get some long clips and a few blurry pics...used all the cameras and the big scope!....Rangers came by and wanted to know which number...'66...or 99'....Bear had been caught and tagged, and maybe collared, thought I heard mention, and that explains the yellow tag...youTube clip referenced yesterday shows 66 from a week or so ago, and just the red tag...picked up, and back at the Bridge, caught the Shuttle...pointed out where Bear was, and everyone got a good looksee going by....dinner in Siberia.....sunny blueblue puff clouds warm...now it's Spring...yesterday it was Winter!....while doing the downanduploads, three shows on Animal Planet...Bear Whisperer (about Mammoth Bears), one about hunting, and the third, Wild Kingdom story about Minnesota Bears...and hunting....hmmph...
