Paddled out to the Merced early, heard Mallards over thataway on the way to Breakfast...but no luck...and after Breakfast went back to the Cabin and curled up!...it was cold...sunny blueblue too....at lunch, sat at the Fallen Cedar...Mallard Pair paddling about...faraway pics...Song Sparrow singing behind on the Misery Bush(not Mountain Misey, but one of the invasive Berry Bushes, I think...lots of thorns)...pics....Ouzel, Ravens, Phoebe, Blackbirds, Redwing Blackbirds about....report of Bear Jam at the Appletrees across the Road from the A Meadow...
