Paddled about for only about half an hour...back to Creek's End...Mallards across the Merced by the Cottonwood Grove...found a seat on the bank opposite, started clip, and Mallards all swam across right towards me...continued along the Merced...cut across through the Woods, and when I reached the Bike Path I could hear Blue Jay scolding in a small Cedar...time for work, but went to looksee...just as I got near, Hawk flew off low, with Blue Jay in pursuit...had the 20x ready, and did get a clip of flight..but too tinytiny....sunny warm blue...very blue sky....and very quiet..tourist wise too!...pic and clip of Kinglet...and clip of two Ravens pecking a frozen puddle in the empty parking lot...Chickaree was on the Cabin Roof...and the usual three or four Grey Squirrels in the Backyard eating the Cedar seeds....lot of tracks from Deer running in the Woods and Channel...
