Out and about late...paddled out to Two Top Pine Meadow, and took a seat on the Broken Cottonwood...quiet...heard Pileated Woopecker Pair over in the Scorched Forest...picked up to go over thataway, and realized I'd forgotten the new camera's battery in the charger...so back thataway for two reasons...Pileated was quiet when I went by the Forest, and back at the Cabin I retrieved the battery, and went over to Lower Falls and around out to Chapel Meadow, and the Boardwalk....thought to wait awhile there...daylighttime passing fast!...quiet...but far away in the Tree Line by the Merced, I saw Hawk...chest feathers in the Sunset light...took pics with the new camera...and before I could get the digi sighted with the waterproof, light was gone...and Hawk too...did get a good looksee at Hawk through the scope....Red Shoulder Hawk...thought maybe Hawk went out to Two Top, but quiet....continued to Creek's End....same route as last few days....sat awhile at Owl Log...Flicker call...and Ouzel call...hazy cloudy with some sun, cool...starry sky tonight on walk back from Village...oh!...a new thing:...Blog2print..
