Backyard

After Breakfast, Shuttled over to the Village...paddled back along the Road, through Bobcat Meadow, across Chapel Bridge, through Chapel and Coop's Meadow, across Swinging Bridge, out to the Burnt Log in Two Top Pine Meadow...in all Three Meadows, quietquietquiet...but scenic...Leaves have changed, Falls still running a bit, and bluebluewarm--record warm I hear...returned to the Cabin through the Burnt Forest and along the Path...quiet too...and then...then, just as I reached the Cabin Door, across the Road, Ground Squirrel climbed up into the front of a truck...didn't think much of this, but then Squirrel's head appeared through the truck's grill...fumbled for the newer camera, and managed to get a pic....truck was a ford, and Squirrel clambered out, moved to the next car, a chevy, and checked that one too!...another pic!!...Squirrel moved down the row to a toyota, no pic, then back a row...time, so I didn't follow...but very cool, I have no idea what Squirrel thinks!....report of Redtail Hawk on a Snag--seen from Colombia Point...Trees are the Backyard's Dogwoods, and Broadleaf Maples....too sleepy to post up more of Tuesday's report..for sometime...
