Path Hawk

After Breakfast, opened Silver's door with some trepidation...there's a little red light that blinks when the alarm is armed, and no matter how many time I pressed the remote, it kept blinking...so, I put the key in the door, turned...nothing...quiet!..opened the door...still quiet....couldn't figure, but took the opportunity to find the second trick, but it didn't turn the blinking red light off either...so put the key in the ignition, started, and that shut off the blinking light, which will remain so awhile...hmmph..checked the Dogwoods...Flicker was there early, but too sleepy to go out....and of course quiet when I did get out...paddled out to Lower Falls, and around to Cottonwood Beach...sat awhile...Blue Jay pair in the Willow...wondered if same Blue Jays from yesteryear....pic and clip...DownyOrHairy Woodpecker in the Cottonwoods on the Shingle...quiet...picked up, and just enough time to make the Outside Loop...stayed near the Merced...Blue Birds at Ozone Bend....Mountain Chickadees at Swinging Bridge...Meadows quiet....was nearing the Cabin, and saw Hawk, Redshoulder, fly low, like two feet, over the Path ahead..followed into the Trees and located Hawk perched in a Cedar...I think Hawk is Cedar...this is whereabout I most often saw Cedar yesteryear....pic up,...clip, backview and short flight, for sometime....sunny with wispy hazy clouds, magnificent blue, warm....at Lunch: worked some more on Alder Owl three...and tried to make a deal to take lunch at four, and before my break, which would be moved to the lunch slot..lunch, break, break...wait and see...weekend tomorrow, and I can rollabout in Silver!
