Coyote And Ravens

Early Breakfast, and rolled over to the Village to check the Road Board...
Tioga closed, though friend said they drove as far as the Pass yesterday.....thought a minute or two--it was cold, and I was sleepy, and...rolled back to the Cabin for a nap!....before going out and about in the afternoon (a long nap!), tried again to do an online errand---re-enrollment in job insurance---and figured it out, I think...confirmation to come in mail within ten days...I think!....things moving to online, billing, banking, taxes, etcetc., seems a bit problematic at times!....gathered the gear, checked the Dogwoods....Robins, Little Birds...no pics... and paddled along the Path to Two Top Pine Meadow...had in mind to circle back along the Merced and make the Outside Loop, but by Two Top, saw a flock of Ravens rise up from the Burnt Forest...a carcass thereabout, I thought....water still in the Low Areas around Two Top, and took boots and socks off to wade across....located the carcass in the Forest, a somber sight--a Fawn....and I learned from two park ranger employees that Deer was a road kill moved there from the Road....but this after I sighted Coyote approaching...pics...missed clip, card filled up....Coyote diverted, either from seeing me, or the Ravens coming back to the Ground...lost sight of Coyote in the Forest....looked about, and one more glimpse....Forest too dark for pics, and decided to leave off, and back to the Cabin....world series on tv...everyone hereabout cheering for the giants....fun to watch...but a bitter sweet day...sunny blueblue cool....oh...in the morning, checked out the employee art works up in the activity center...very cool....

Found a Book (one of Basho's journeys):

The Narrow Road to Oku

Myself, I've never quite understood haiku, and have been often put off by those who claim they do, and pose as guardians of 'true' haiku...anyway...did a google search: 'how to understand haiku'...I am not alone!
