Today's charcoal sketch from the watercolor sketch in the notebook...thought to do the 6x8 painting too...make a routine of drawing big with the charcoal, and paint small with the oils, acrylics or watercolors, or, to come, pastels, or draw with pencil, or pen and ink...scratch board...there are a lot of different media!...and one of my art instructors at Palomar was generous and took us through each of them...much fun...anyway, my wow routine is tugging at me, so not much time today to art...trouble, and blessings, with routines, as once one gets one well started, it just takes one along!...today it's a bit overcast and cooler...drawing from a photograph or life is hard because there is so much information...in the watercolor sketch I was just trying to capture too many things!...much of the charcoal is just from memory..class was set up just to the left out front of the Visitor Center...
