A late start, and studied the Routes, and found way to Upper Newport Bay Nature Preserve--43 to Adams transfer to 178...simple!...sat at Adams and waited and waited...began reading Huckleberry Finn...and waited...checked the schedule book...checked iphone for time....any time now...waited...hmmph...checked schedule book again...178 doesn't run on Sunday...checked iphone for day of week...hmmph...well, when on the loose, Huckleberry likely gave little heed to what day it is either!...paddled out to Newport Pier...sunny blueblue warm windy...and no fish being caught...bought some jigs, one for catching bait, one for catching fish, at store with Whale Watch sign...see pic...Tuna pic from other day is at the Balboa Pavilion on Davey's Locker's window, and sculptor used it to make one of the reliefs on the Orb in the Plaza at Newport Pier...Bay Nature Preserve for tomorrowmorrow...
