Was taking pics and clips of Mama Doe and One Fawn out in the Backyard...and the Bandtails flew in a flock overhead and landed in the tall Ponderosas....wasn't sure they were Bandtails...so took some hopeful pics....(forgot the binocs!)....they're said to kinda disappear when they roost!...so a challenge to find them....went around Lower Falls out to Cook's...had the close up lens with and thought to try it it...dont think I have the hang of it yet!...this was by the river by Chapel Bridge...and Mama Doe with Two Fawns showed up there near the Path...while taking pics a second set of Mama and Two showed up and walked over to the Deer House...for later I thought!...but then this whole herd of Does and Fawns comes walking through the tall grasses towards me from the House...kinda cool...I've seen them cross the Merced at Chapel Bridge before...and that's what they were about....pics and clips...good show for the tourists!....picked up...worktime approaching!...and at the Tiki Temple came across Mama and One again...so it was a kinda Deer morning!....cool...even cold as I'm double layered...breezy...blue....
